I am a freshman in college and he's a junior in college. The last time we had sex was December 13th before we went back home.
When I came back home, I started feeling an itchiness in my vagina and it hurts to pee. I don't know what to do! Both of us lost our virginities to our exes and when we've had sex, we've always used a condom. I'm afraid that it's going to be an STD or that my parents (really strict Asian parents, won't allow me to date until I finish GRAD school) will find out if I go to the doctor.
HELP! |

| You probably have a bladder infection, which is easily cause by wiping from back to front pushing bacteria into the urethra. This type of infection is very common with women because of the way we are designed. Your doctor will prescribe you antibiotics to clear it up. In the meantime drink lots and lots of cranberry juice. This will help loads to ease pain and flush your system. In the future drink it on a regular basis to help prevent it from reoccurring. This is not a cure you will still need to see your doctor for diagnosis and treatment. |

| I have to agree with Smackie....it doesnt sound sex related. Probably a bladder infection. go to the doctor and get some meds and just drink lots of fluids... |

| And your doctor will have a confidentiality agreement with all their patients (including you). You can go see a doctor without your parents, and they don't have to find out. If your parents see the same doctor, just let your doc know you want to keep your appointment on the down low. |

Most women will get bladder infections or UTIs sometime in their lives. There's no harm in telling your mom that you think you have a bladder infection and need to see a doctor because the infections are not caused by sex (although they occur more commonly in people who are sexually active). You can be a virgin and still get bladder infections.
Set up a doc appointment. The doc will have you pee in a cup to confirm the diagnosis and give you antibiotics. |

| I would see a doctor immediately and not assume it is a bladder infection. Let the medical professional take care of that diagnosis. Beccaherg is correct that there is a confidentiality agreement and your doctor should not give out any information (unless it is required in the legal sense by court order but that is not the issue here). |
