| Ive been approached a lot by guys before, and usually I turn them down. But the men that have caught my attention in the past have always been the ones that seem confident in what they are saying. If you follow advice from forums and all, it's great, but when you sound like your giving an oral presentation in front of a classroom, it's a turn off. Even if you mess up your intro or something, just make a smooth recovery, it will be funny, you will get her to smile and move on! |

| Someone finding you interesting is a hit or miss no matter what you do. It takes a female approx 7 secs to determine whether she likes you or not. So it really only gains you small points for whatever comes out of your mouth. Being confident is good but you need to depart quickly. Keeping at them makes them push away. You meet greet then say you have to go but before you do ask them for their number. Just remember to say "I'd like to have you number and grab your phone ready to take it, and don't say can I have your number. You don't want to give them a chance to say no. |

Thank you flower blossom, I tried your advice and it went well. I went up to a girl and I told her I thought she was really pretty and then immediately asked for her number because I'd like to get to know a little bit about her. Moderator thanks as well.
Now, there is one interesting situation I was in a couple days back. I was at Barnes and Noble looking at sparknotes. When I looked up I saw a really pretty girl looking in my direction. When she met my eyes, out of just pure instincts, I smiled and waved hi at her!! She immediately smiled and looked down and back. I've never had such a desire to go up to a girl, but I couldn't. I didn't and still don't know how or what to say to her after something like that happens. Please, if you can help I would really appreciate it. |

Thanks smackie, haha I'll try that next time I'm in that situation again. You know what I was wondering though, I just listened to a podcast on a dating website and a girl who was invited on said that she doesn't like when guys go up to her and mention her looks. She said she would like some creativity. But me being honest, I would go up to a girl if I find her attractive. So i'm wondering, if I do up to a girl what may I say that doesn't mention her beauty? If I see a girl at school for example, and she's studying, I'm assuming I may then say " I find the fact that you're studying to be really sexy". But that just seems a bit momentarily, would she be thinking " ok, but how bout when I'm not studying?"
How can I be creative? |

Just like what I quoted.....I saw you checking me out.....make it about you....give yourself a touch of arrogance but in a joking kind of way...be able to make fun of yourself. And just get right to the point and ask her out. Show confidence.
Tip: girls don't want to be worshiped, put up on a pedestal or fussed over. Just treat them like anyone else. |

| That would work? I mean if for example, I'm at school and a really pretty girl just walks past me. I turn around, catch up with her, and stop her. There's nothing that seems too interesting about her. She's dressed normal but is still very gorgeous. What can I say? I wanna say thank you again for all the advice you guys are giving me. |

| Sorry but you are on your own.....every situation will have a different approach. It's best to try it out on girls that don't intimidate you. You don't have to ask them out if you are not really interested but it will be good practise to see what works and what doesn't. |

| Eye contact is very important. If you make eye contact with someone and they hold their stare or take a second look at you, then you can make your move. Just remember you will not have success right away or all the time....even the smooth talkers get rejected. |

| Ok, I guess you're right. I'm going to throw myself in. I'm sure there'll be times I'll look like an idiot but ahhh, I'm just praying that learning curve comes fast. I'll repost in a couple of weeks or months and guess I'll say what I've learned or how I have improved. Thanks again Smakie9! |

| Your so welcome........if you do get caught in an awkward moment, make a joke about ti and laugh it off.....don't be afraid to make fun of yourself with quick witty comments. Then just change the focus on her by asking a question about them. If you can keep them talking about themselves they will get more comfort about around you....remember eye contact....stop looking down at your damn feet! |
