What vegetables do they like? When I was growing up, I loved peas, broccoli and carrots! In today's world, guess what vegetable toddlers eat the most of? I guessed carrots! What is your guess?
I am shocked by the answer: http://www.gerber.com/Pledge/Video-Coll ... ?VideoId=1

I don't have kids, but I know that my niece will not eat anything green. No matter how well her parents hide green veggies in her food, she will find them and pick them out, one by one.

She's only 18 months old now. I wonder if the picky eating will get better or worse when she gets older.....

Just saw the video... so sad.

I'd love to know where Gerber got that information. I don't know if I believe it.

Why do you think 80% of the US population is grossly over weight? Did you not see the size of some of the people they interviewed? I have Satellite TV and we get Detriot TV. The food commercials on there are fast food all in it's deep fried glory. It's no wonder. I was a picky eater as a kid but my mom never let us have junk food or sugar sweeten cereals. I ate mostly raw veggies, nothing cooked which was a plus nutrition wise. Is she eating other types of veggies?

I completely agree with you about the food options and commercials on TV. The statistics are so sad! I think it is cool that the parents on the Gerber site are pledging to raise a healthier generation. There are 12,343 pledges so far!
