| Being in a cool, dark place with a cold compress helps. Something I did recently that helped with the Allay Patch. This thing is going to catch on one of these days.but at least I don't have miserable cramping to go with it. So now its just like having your head in a vice and not being kicked in the gut at the same time. Definitely an improvement. |

I'm sorry to hear you're having migraine trouble. I've has migraines most of my life and they drive me crazy.

Cold compress usually makes my migraines worse, but a warm washcloth over my eyes in a dark, quite room helps. Everyone's different. Try talking to your doctor, there are prescription medications for migraines that may help. I take 600-800mg of ibuprofin and it usually dulls the migraine pain, if caught early enough. Excedrine Migraine (over-the-counter) is also an option, although it has caffeine in it.

Try eating smaller meals, more often, like every 3 hours. Adrenalin is often released into the body when blood sugar levels are low, (often before and during a period) and the adrenalin can trigger the migraine.
