This book has a special place in my heart. I read it during the time of my sister's pregnancy. She was expecting a child with Down Syndrome and had a beautiful baby girl. But I could really relate to the book at the time. Now the movies going to be on Lifetime. My sister have a date...this Saturday night..her place at 9pm to watch the movie. Has anyone else loved this book as much as me and looking forward to the movie?

I thought the book was amazing!! The emotion and detail was incredible and surprisingly I thought the movie did a pretty good job of displaying all the important parts. I was worried because a lot of times books that are made to movies, leave out tons of key elements. It wasn't the case this time. I also love Dermot Mulroney!!!!

OMG! what a great book! I read it when I was 17 and loved it. I've re-read it since and am still totally in love with it! I have lent it to so many people to read and all of them cried. I just think it's an amazing story.

I found it looking on the top 100 novels wall in my local bookshop, read the back and thought i'd give it a go. Cost me $33.95 (AUS) but it was definantly a great purchase!

I wasn't aware there was a movie? I'm definantly going to try and find it.

I assume you've watched it. Was it anything like the book?
