I guess I'll be the first to post under the wedding category!! 
My fiance and I will be getting married May 17, 2009. We will be having a destination wedding down in Sanibel Island, Florida. Then we will be having our reception back at home about two weeks later. It's been really fun planning for our wedding so far!! We have bough books and magazines for destination wedding and have been getting alot of advice from family and friends. I know we still have a long ways to go, but its nice that we still have a ways, because it gives us a chance to save up for our wedding, and we can do the planning very slowly instead of rushing in and making the wrong mistakes. This way we will get to try out different venues for our reception, like DJs, food/cake, photographers, etc. But were actually going through a packaged website for our wedding down in Florida. The package comes with a wedding planner and all!! So, basically we won't have to pick out anything for the wedding, all we have to do is keep in touch with her and show up on our wedding date!! It will be a very fun journey and I can't wait til the time finally gets here!!

I definitely will! I heard it's very tropical there. I can't wait to go and get married on a beautiful island!!

| You sounds very excited, i bet you just cant wait. Having a planner for your day really takes the stress out and lets you just enjoy your day. Am very happy you found a terrific wedding location and a wedding planner. Make sure you enjoy your day to the full! |
