i think any kind of make up will make your skin dry. i always put a moisturiser on before i use make up.

I wear moisturizer too. I find that the mac doesn't cover well when I use any kind of moisturizer. It kinda smears and rolls off my skin when I apply it. I find good old inexpensive Revlon works best and they have different kinds for every skin type. I've used expensive brands like Ultima and Lancome in the past, but I keep coming back to Revlon. The price difference is huge. I was paying 30 bucks for mascara...nuts eh?

I'm not putting Mac down...I find their brushes are awesome. What I'm saying is some of those inexpensive drugs store brands are just as good. I've discovered that over the years there has been a marked improvement on their quality and selection. I'm saving myself hundreds of dollars a year. Hell I was paying $60 for foundation. I find Mac has great marketing and I can see how appealing it is. They always have a great set up and sales staff....definitely not like the boring old cosmetic counters in department stores.

i agree with smackie9...i've been using estee lauder and dior before, but i also think it's far too expensive for what it is. now i apply this maybelline dream mousse with a little sponge and it's even better than anything i've tried before. as a concealer though, i use Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup for Face and Body from Estee Lauder. A tube lasts over a year and i put it on every day.

I also use mineral make-up by Bare Essentials and it really hasn't dried up my skin, but then again I also put moisturizer on underneath the make-up. Try doing that because mineral make-up is suppose to be very good for your skin. Especially if you have acne prone make-up like myself!
Good luck!!

I have always been a fan for MAC cosmetics. Mostly for my powder, blush and eyeliner. The I also use Bobby Brown for my cover-up and shimmer dust.

well there is all kinda of makeups to wear, me I dont wear as much...
maybe you should just wear a lil eye shadow and clear lip gloss
I usally use a light blue, silver looking color or a gold color or pink u just have to test it on your face and see what matches u.
thats what I did.I have hazel eyes when i want my eyes to look brown, i use brown eye shadow... but ive also used blues and greens... not too much though but just enough to accent the green in my eyes..
expierment with different shades of eye shadow, you'll be amazed with what colors you can get to come out of your eyes when using different colors.
