If women were not economically dependent on men, would gender equality follow? Why or why not? [addsig]

NO! Men still expect their dinner on the table and the household chorses done by the old lady. I own the house, I have a good paying job, I own my own car, I buy my own clothes, etc. And I still do everything! Because women are the true stonger sex and too many men are lazy!

Honestly in this new age nobody should be economically dependent. I am a white male and have never gotten any perks for this. If anything I truly believe there should be a complete overhaul of how things are perceived and how people are categorized. I believe in "TRUE" equality. I don't have anyone taking care of me nor do I expect that. Equal rights yield equal responsibilities in every aspect.[addsig]
