Hiya,

Basically, im pretty sure i'm pregnant, but it's where i'm going to live is causing the problems.

My boyfriends at uni (we live together) and my mum lives an hour away, i want to live near my mum and where i know loads of people and where i feel safe.

But because my bf at uni, he can either leave, which i dont want him to, because whats the point, or stay and visit and then move up when hes left, or change uni's.... i feel very unfair in suggesting that he has to be apart from me and his newborn for over a year (with the exception of visits) but i realy feel that i need my family as i dont know anyone here really and at the moment we share a house with 3 other people.

So yeah, am i being a bit callous saying i'll move without him, with his newborn, or should he understand?.... or both?

You are an adult now. Your bf should be the one to take care of you. Is there something else you are not telling us? Do you feel he is not adequate to take care of you and the baby? Or are you feeling insecure about you being able to handle being a mother? Just remember if your family cares about you , they will come to you for support. There should be no need to leave the father over this.

I think maybe it's just that i miss my family...i don't like it very much where i am now among other things. But it turns out that my bf can get off uni early without missing anything, and he said he'd give it a go living near mum for a year or two and see how it goes. All has worked out i guess =).. now to get on with being happy huh Laughing
